You're a native speaker in both english and japanese?  Shocked

he he, nice nice, as I said it many time, skilled people are always welcome, actually you could be of a great help since mew kinda busy lately.

Of course we'll have to test you, but if you're a native speaker in both langages it's just a formality  Wink

It would be easier if you could come talk to me directly on irc (but then we'll have to be there at the same time...) If you can't, we'll deal with it by mail or pm.

cough... i signed up just because I saw someone say "QCing is a useless job and is just an excuse to get the scanlation early >_<" MUKHYAAAAAAA!  Angry Angry Angry Angry

HELL NO!

That was incredibly insulting statement. INSULTING.

Look at what happens if you don't have a QCer ._. You end up with "Your-Mom's Code Geass Release" Tongue

& a shout out to ossu!

Oh, if you guys still need a QCer, I can do it Smiley Asakura already invited me a long time ago... like 4-5 months ago XD

I don't want to QC the test because I hate To-LOVE-Ru and do not know anything about the characters or is very interested in knowing them Sad A good QCer is someone who has a good grasp on the character-to-character dynamics of the manga he/she's assigned to. Doing anything you're not "into" will only produce substandard work.

Past blah groups:

- F-M
- Shiraku
- Isane (still in)
- For my personal releases Tongue

If you can give me a script of something else, I might do that Wink I just really... REALLY... hate TLR  Tongue

we can still take some more cleaners as long as they're skilled... but from that page I can tell you're not ready yet.

You don't fill all the blacks and you blur some parts (and I don't like pages all blurry) Oh and for the typesetting, keep in mind that the text must fit in the bubble, on that page, the text is too big and barely fits inside. It's not a problem if the size looks smaler than the japanese characters.

If you want me to look at this as a test for what you can do, you have to first save it with a height of 1100px.

Next, I still see white dots in the black areas, there's still the blurry parts, some places seem to have been overburnt and other could have been burnt a little more (but with the small size of your page I can't really tell for sure)

If you want to see what you're lacking, pick a random page from a raw chapter of Mx0 that we already released, try to do it without looking and then compare.

*ouch* some people may like that blurry things, but not me...
tones are not supposed to be some grayish areas, not like that at least.
The big blacks areas are indeed black but some black lines are gray and barely visible.

To join ossu you must forget that blurring filter and work only with levels, brushs, and eventually burn and dodge if you know how to use it properly.

edit: and clone tool of course.

May I ask a question... Is it because I have bad eyes but how do you see those details?
