We never released the last chapters, actually, I even wonder if the last chapters we released have ever been added to the archive...

Well, I had tled and typesetted the chapters from the mags raws up to 97 (when it was coming out from jump every weeks), but then the other guys of the team weren't doing there job (busy with life probably I don't remember) so I lost all motivation to work on this (moreover when seeing that there were XX versions coming out on mangahelpers meanwhile)
I still have all the files I had done at that time, but right now I'm spending pretty much all my time on amanchu (and on that other project we had picked before amanchu and we didn't release any chapter of yet...)

Ossu! is pretty much only me right now with lb's help on QC and asa's scans.
eats is still here on that other project, but we're not settled on editing settings yet, and he's really really busy with his work from what it seems.

Anyway, to end up with Mx0, I have tled and typesetted the last chapter from tank scans a few month ago, if I manage to have the full thing ready I'll release it, if not well I won't...

I'd suggest we watch out this May 2009.

It's almost a year since the last chapter was released (May 19 2008), and according to the manga, Kuzumi will be back in a year.  Who knows? That may be a hint that they're making a sequel for it.

I'm not sure about this, but I feel like it's coming.

Well, still having hope to see Mx0 back is good, but I don't think it'll happen, seriously.
But like you said, who knows, maybe someday shueisha's current higher-ups will all be fired and the new ones will agree to give a new chance to Mx0 or they just won't find anything popular enough else to fill the pages of shounen jump (I highly doubt that since they build manga to fit with the public wishes)...

Well, that's good, `coz I would be working there starting this April... I'm really looking forward to working with mangakas like Yasuhiro Kanou and Kawashita Mizuki... I could probably talk him into doing it, haha.

By the way, I'm glad I mentioned that, I'll give you a little information about myself. I'm using the pen-name Hidenara Saikaku, `coz I don't want to mention my real name (yet), a manga otaku and soon-to-be mangaka. Kawashita and Yasuhiro are my favorite authors. I'm already working on my debut manga, Disillusionment, and it would be released this June. I'll probably do the translating stuff myself, but if you guys want to do it, we can work it out. Have fun everyone!

Well I wish you success if that what you want to do. It's good to live from what you really like (Being a mangaka is pretty tough though).

If you manage to meet kanou (or kawashita), be sure to get their mail and give it to me later hehe Wink
If I were rich, I would have hired him to continue Mx0, but unfortunately, that's not the case...

Anyway, feel free to put some adverstising or just open a topic to tell us more about your works in other anime/manga section or links in the link section of the forum (this part is more about Mx0)

(strange that you mentioned the 2 authors I tled the more stuff of... ^^;)

Yeah, sure, I'd do that.

For now, you gave me an idea on what to do when I get there: Get Yasuhiro and Kawashita's emails!

and btw, I didn't know you also tl's Kawashita's works... which ones did you do?

Back to the topic... if we couldn't hire him to continue Mx0, maybe we can inspire him to do it. It sure would work, asking a mangaka to continue a series that was "dead" for a year. *Imagining that a manga labeled "Mx0:Return to Seinagi" is in front of him*

Hey, wait... this thing just came into my head.

Just as StrikeFlo said, it is unlikely that Yasuhiro would continue Mx0, but, I said, "who knows? he might as well do it."

If you really think it over, the chance of him doing it is less than 10%, so hoping for it isn't probably worth it.

But, like I just said, I'll be working with him soon, so I can probably ask him if he's still thinking of pursuing this series.

I'll take this chance. If he says "Yes," then hurray for us.

If he says "Nope," still, it would probably a hurray for everyone, because I'm planning something. *Mischievous laugh*

In case the author wouldn't want to continue it, I'd love to make a non-legit sequel for Mx0.

I hope you support this idea. Just post your ideas up (probably in a new topic). I'd need them a lot.

Thanks.

Well, I first came in the scanlation world with Ichigo 100% with yanime, I work on the colored one-shots by kawashita with plumcity too.

anyway, you make it sound easy to meet authors over there... it's good to have high hopes, (and I'd certainly appreciate to have know someone that can see him) but I don't think it'll be that easy.

I hope you support this idea. Just post your ideas up (probably in a new topic). I'd need them a lot.
I support any idea that would make another end that what we had...

Meeting mangakas at Shueisha isn't easy, but it isn't impossible. Well, either way, I'll do my best in both finding Yasuhiro-sama, and, in case, create a continuation for Mx0.
