Macross Frontier

Well, I'm a big Macross fan since the robotech period, so I'm taking the time to open this topic.

I've just watched the first episode, and I seriously think this can turn into a great anime. The animation itself is worth the best anime around, I can't really tell about the story yet, but the main characters seems ok. The main character is the dark bishounen type but doesn't seem as dumb as usual dark bishounen character (I usualy really don't like that type of characters.)

And last the valkyries, they have just minor changes compared to the old ones. basically the vf-25 looks like the good ol' vf-1 and the vf-171 like gamlin's vf-17.
so all good for now. I can't wait for the next episodes.

oh, so there's a new Macross, the last one I saw that I liked was Macross 7

Macross 7 had great musics, but even though it hurts me to say it, there was some really retarded moments...

and between macross 7 and macross frontier there's only Macross 0, which wasn't bad... if you'd watched it forgetting it was in the original storyline...

Well, considering that everything is pretty much settled at the end of macross 7, I don't think there's anything that could miss you when watching macross frontier.

the second ep won't be aired before march/april
