well to make it short, we don't spend hours cleaning it for nothing. this is far from being enough.

On the second page, the hat is colored too much in and the guy with the white/blonde hair has the dust residue(s) of the raw still there. Also if possible try to keep the gradient and patterns. The real problem is for pages in which lots of ink are missing. Currently I am also attempting to learn to clean as well. Personally, I tried the one with half of Lucy missing and that thouroughly annoyed me, I wonder how strike and eats pulled that one off.

Just an assumption, but do you try overlaying, burning and blurring? I would suggest use the blending properties slightly but mainly just when tones of raws are completely off. Try brushing a bit more. I think that matches a bit more to what Strike wants.

what I want is the quality we have in our releases. pick a page from a chapter we already did and try to have a similiar result that's the best thing to do I think (without looking before you're done or it wouldn't be a good test) and if you have specific questions go on.

I could tell you how I work more precisely but without a tablet I'm afraid you would have troubles... (well, without a tablet it WILL be harder no matter what)

How much are tablets these days Strike? I think I may look into it, for a multitude of reasons.

it depends on what you want to buy, quality or not, and how big.

Besides, it's true you did well at filling balcks, but the tones are often badly touched up (?) and even horrible on some pages...
The blur on the other parts of the pages isn't too visible, so the result isn't bad.

It's a way of cleaning that's ofen used in speed teams, it's not necessarily bad but not everything can be done automatically... (not with a good result I mean)

How long did you spend on this and did you use a tutorial to do it?
