onii-chan and brother may mean the same thing, but i really don't like reading brother, sounds so lame, cause we are not used to calling out older brother by saying brother, or sister, or teacher, we just say name, but the japanese way of speaking it is interesting, and it even sounds nice for some reason. yea so leave the simple easy translation in japanese, and u guys could even make a list or something, the ones i think would be ok are, brother, sister, big sister.. , teacher, thank you( Arigato- right??) .. eh u guys are the experts. u guys got know which

yeah keep the japanese word. sometimes it makes more sense.
and also, as someone said saying sensei in english, like hirragi sensei....to hiiragi

teacher or teacher hiiragi......sounds a bit off.  Embarrassed

also for example, kuzumi onii-san.....brother kuzumi......sounds like your calling kuzumi a priest.... Shocked

Um, when you mean keep japanese words, you mean things like onii-san, sensei, and words that you can detail about in the little margins between the pictures? Because I say definitely do that for all that you can, because it really helps us understand the meaning.

Like, say, I was watching D. Gray man and I liked it way better when they kept the word Akuma instead of translating it to demon.

Besides, it really helps keep the meaning of the words when you keep them in japanese. 'Cause I've read translations that were just english, and when comparing them to the same manga translated with some words still japanese (and their meaning shown the first time they use the word), it really made it much better.

Oh, and as my first post, I'd like to say thanks for doing this ^^. To tell you the truth, it's awesome when people like you guys do things just for the general public for free.
