the extension to the right is so I can write, otherwise I'm left with my bed to write on and that is uncomfortable. Anyway, Laptop is ussually main computer, I have it connected to the screen on top, so when I translate/check stuff or watch movies I see them there while I work on the laptop, the workstation used to be connected all the time but it's much slower than the laptop and has less Memory left, around 1Gb on each drive(40Gb + 120Gb), but this one has about 25Gb free(of 140Gb) and I have 4Gb free on the external drive(thing covered with all the papers on the left side of the screen(240Gb capacity))

felt like weird to use laptop as a main computer (becasuse laptop seem to have a short lifespan in my head.w.)anyway

Having your laptop as main computer can be useful because you can bring it with you wherever you go.
But of course, laptops are more expensive
