Well i only started yesturday and ive used this tutorial, seems reasonably good for now. http://www.unblessed.net/guide/main.html . got most of the things need to get you started. The only one that it doesnt state which took me ages to work out was when you get a low quality raw (in my case it was redish) and have to clean it from there. If you get one like this you need to select the whole image and go Image>Mode>grescale to solve this problem in Photoshop, then you can get under way with the cleaning in the usual manner. If you want Bleachnoob91, we could start a new thread for that purpose of help cleaners, editers, etc and share tips and things. sounds like a good idea and may make this place more active and produce helpers for the staff in the future. Also its because of the layers in Photoshop is why it is chosen i believe. Edit: What would be a good way to upload/show images and show what work ive done so far? |

It sounds like a good idea, it was only a suggestion, honestly I don't have any experience in editing/cleaning raws but it sounds simple enough. I'm also really bad at explaining things through text lol so making tutorials is out of the question. Unless we can link other's tutorials? But someone should make the thread. Like you said it would do good for this forum and possibly keep it active. You could try uploading images onto photobucket.com, I personally find that site irritating as ever with the whole, logging in every month so ur account won't get deleted. |

editing tankoubon scans of series without sfx everywhere is actually pretty simple, it's pretty much only leveling, erasing the japanese text, and putting the translated text.
But editing magazines scans is all but simple...

There's a bunch of chapters in QC right now so the wait shouldn't be long, c27 we'll be released when I'll judge it's time to. and does staff always disappear and reappear often? Actually yes... that's kinda hard to deal with... but even asakura the leader disappear a lot (which is why I'm kinda concidered leader by interim...) so how can we blame the usual staff to do the same? |
