Ban from IRC?

It kicked me 2 times saying that no clons, and I dont even know how to use a clone. Maybe it had to do with my brother was also on the same IRC? I dont know what to do now.

that's what a clone is, two instances of IRC from the same computer (IP) on the same server at the same time.

if you were banned from the channel it can be fixed, but if you were banned from the server there's nothing we can do, you need to got talk to the server administrators (irc.highway)

Usualy I don't ban clones because it doesn't really matter, but on some "special" occasion I will.

well i think it was just for 1 hours, because i was able to get on before the irc got to 700 poeple

It was like Mew and Strike said, that you had 2 connections. When Strike kicked you, you had auto rejoin and came straight back into the channel and so Strike and fairy sent you to a ban and kick this time. maybe as both of them went to remove you at the same time it took longer to realise you were still banned and unblock you.

Also even if it is a real excuse with a family member, dont expect it to work. The "it was my sister/brother/dad/cat/dog" that was on, did it excuse rarly works with an admin, just for future reference. I know it never has at places and game servers ive been to before.

I dont have auto rejoin, I was talking at the time when i was kicked, so... I loged back in and asked why i was kicked for clone. 1 min later i was kicked again when talking and at that time i was ban. I dont care if you think i dont have a brother, but he is my twin brother and he was sitting next to me at the time.

yes I got a ban on irc but not for this matter but the matter on uploading links when the scanlation just came out instead of waiting 1 week. That was an error on my part because I did not read the rule on the forum but I was wondering, is that perma ban or is it temp. ban?
