Cleaners [1] Feedback please

Hello, i was wondering if i could have some feedback on this page that ive cleaned. Its the second page (after cover) from chapter 48 of To-Love-Ru. Only started yesturday and this is the second full page that ive cleaned, only been doing tutorials before hand.

Well please tell me where i can improve. was aiming for MQ - HQ work. I know its a fairly simple one, but like i say i only started yesturday.

Argh... Looking back ive already seen a speck on the left hand side and the top border is slightly curved. But saying that how do you redraw the borders?

Thanks in advance for advice, tips, hints, etc.

lol sounds lyk ur aiming for super high quality! i don't think ppl would notice that curve in the border, only if u pointed it out.

i think the easiest way to fix up the border is to draw a long rectangle over the specks and curve. go layer options n give it a white colour overlay, n a black size 1 stroke.
the other panels u just select em, copy em, paste em, and add a stroke dats size 1 inside.

i did this on ur scan if u don't mind. i won't use it for nethin, just wanted to show u.. if my explanation is a bit off lol

It's a lot too small for me to comment... reducing the size also make disappear a lot of bad things.

I set the size at width 690 pixals. i used Imageshack and it automatically resized the pic for forum use.

Yeah i wanted quite a good quality one, took me between 1-2 hours to do that as i cloned the black to make the fade areas darker. probably an easier way of doing so, but meh im still learning. And using the mouse does make it alot harder, alough the quality of the public scans arnt brilliant either but im pleased with the results.

Sorry still dont understand that border bit where you say copy and paste? could you please explain that Park?



Uploaded this one again to imageshack and didnt resize it at all so is the proper size 690 width. Wont bother putting full size original as you can see it below for rough idea. If you could comment on this one strike would be great. Thanks

the standard for most teams is setting the height to 1100px. Anyway, that doesn't look too bad for a first try but you may think this is a bad quality for a raw, but trust me this one has a good quality for a jump scan.

Thanks ^_^ Yeah took alook at a few other scans and now i see that is a pretty decent one. I think its just because im new that it looked daunting and now that i know a few other pieces its easier to clean. Well gave Mx0 chapter 48 cover a go today, not sure why i choose it so dont ask :p, but was the only Mx0 i could find with any seeders =(

Yeah i know the Mx0 logo i messed up on so needs to be redone, and need to find a decent grey tone and not just some paint in there XD
Well any comments on this one so far please? Ill put up the finished work once ive done probably tonight.

(removed the Mx0 Logo in bottom left till i've learnt how to do greys decently.

Yeah well i havent learnt how to splice the images together yet. this was the first half of the tutorial with putting a gap between them, the second part is splicing (joining) the two halfs together. Once i did the first half, i went off to watch tv and never came back to complete the rest of the tutorial. Alough yeah probably too large a gap between the two, where your brains meant to fill in the gap. ah well. im learning each day tho.

Well as Chison asked for me to show something, heres what ive done so far was gonna finish it but then Strike released chapter 30 and well what can i say i think i made the right choice in reading that chapter XD

Learnt about the burn function which has helped out alot in a few areas of other pages ive attempted. Im still not that good but anyways heres some work. tell me what you think.
